We r finally @ "THE" weekend, its Memorial Day and of course, STC2's 1st days. After seeing the movie last night, I have to say its always great to have a bonding pop culture moment with your friends, I put on me Alexander McQueen sneakers in memory of <3, friends and inspirations lost & set out to 23rd st. to see how STC girls lives paralleled mine once again, we have all def grown up but, the fashion is as fabulous as ever so are the relationships, they managed to take the poignant part of our lives and comical commotions and turn them into a funny film fest for 2 hrs of good times and giggling.

So, I want to know what y'all think.. I was flipping through the new issue of ELLE and low and behold there I was in a wonderful lavender Express button up smiling for a picture next to a table with Oil of Olay body wash. Now, it wasn't that I didn't look great but the picture was used for an Oil of Olay ADVERTISEMENT...... Sooo strange as I never did not give them my permission to use my image for any AD purposes nor did I sign a release form. Clearly, they are lookin' for a free spokesman...and personally, I think its just plain ol' rude and tacky... These days who posts pictures without people's permission for an advertisement? This is even more ridiculous because in actuality, I just LOVE Keri Lotion and it can cause severe friction with my contract with my FAVORITES at Keri. I use Keri Lotion everyday for continuous moisturization so; I always look glowing with Keri. Xo P

In my many years of styling celebrities in Hollywood, I have had the extraordinary experience of working with a plethora of stars; the good, the bad and the ugly. But one of the best of the best, and one of the more than fabulous faves has been my ongoing friendship with Sandra Bullock.
I have worked with her since almost the beginning of her career, dressed her for photo shoots, Oscars, and Peoples Choice Awards. Although, I always knew Sandy was special she has never ceased to amaze me on what an outstanding person she is; from her sense of humor to her generous humanitarian efforts. Whenever there has been a natural disaster in the planet, Sandy has always been the first celebrity to stand up and donate out of her own pocket. Whether it was the tsunami, 9-11 relief or most recently the earthquake in Haiti, she has always reached from her heart to give back to people in need.
Over the past few months, I could not have been more thrilled to see my favorite fab friend win a golden globe, sag award and even an Oscar for her performance in "The Blind Side". A well deserved tribute to a woman who has brought millions of dollars to the film industry and a gazillion laughs to audiences across the globe. She has always brought an outstanding level of professionalism and humor to everything she does. And once again she has not disappointed us.
In this stressful personal time, where would be trashy stardom seekers have tried to bring Sandy down, she has shown even brighter. Her level of elegance and class has rivaled one of my favorite iconic figures Grace Kelly. Now lets face it she has never been the biggest fashion star, but it isn't just the clothes that make the woman, it's their spirit that makes them an impeccable style star.
I haven't blogged about this subject before because I hate to get into my clients and friends personal lives, for just that reason, it’s their personal and private lives. But in this case I have to reach out and say hallelujah there is finally a star in Hollywood who doesn’t just walk the walk on the red carpet but she actually stands up and delivers as a role model.
We could all learn a lesson or two on patience, self-discipline, and how not to just look like a star, but to carry oneself as one as well. She has always taken the high road in every endeavor we’ve embarked on, and believe me, we’ve had quite a few over the years. We lost our mothers from cancer around the same time, and I have always felt fortunate to have a friend who understood what I was going through.
But in this recent sorted sexcapade between her husband Jesse James and the sleazy Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, (I’m only going to mention her name once, because she doesn’t deserve to be in the same sentence as someone as outstanding as Sandy). She has managed to maintain a level of quiet perseverance instead of dragging her dirty laundry into the streets and allowing the press to have a heyday at her expense, she has kept her personal business private. Just goes to show you a good upbringing can take you far in life and the support of a close-knit family and friends can help you be triumphant in any unfortunate situation.
Yesterday, when I heard the news that Sandy had filed for divorce I couldn’t have been happier, not for the sadness that this has caused her, but for her ability to stick up for herself. She is a brilliant example for women everywhere that you don’t need a man and marriage to complete you. After all as Tyler Perry said “I can do bad all by myself.”
After filing for single parental custody, Sandy shows she can do even better by herself. It is clear, that none of us need the love of a man to complete us, it should only enhance and inspire us to be better, and that’s why I couldn’t have been more thrilled to hear about the newest edition to the family, her newborn son little Louis Bardo Bullock. I cannot think of anyone that would be a more extraordinary parent. If she only instills one half of her charm, personality, humor, talent and social graces on this child he will be an exemplary human being. I send her all my love and best wishes because the best is yet to come to one of Hollywood’s brightest stars, my friend Sandra Bullock. You have my utmost respect in all you do.

JAN 19 - CNN.com - Phillip gives his post-Globe Fashion Wrap Up and encourages viewers to participate in his Celebrity Clothing Auction with Jane Kaczmarek's charity, Clothes Off Our Back, to raise money for the Haiti Earthquake Relief.
Jane Kaczmarek and Philip Bloch were on the KTLA Morning News this AM and they gave a great plug for the gown. It was on display as you will see in the clip.
